Antique Art Deco Bronze Russian Borzoi/Wolfhound/Dog by Louis-Albert Carvin (1875-1951). The bronze depicting a very handsome Russian Wolfhound (Borzoi), standing proudly on a stepped, veined plinth. The bronze signed on the plinth "L. Carvin," circa 1925.

Louis-Albert Carvin was a French artist known for his bronze animalier sculptures. Born on August 7, 1875 in Paris, France, Carvin went on to study under Emmanuel Frémiet and Georges Gardet at the École des Beaux-Arts and later became a member of the Sociéte des Artistes Français.
