A fine tall antique French Louis XVI style seven drawer mahogany chest of drawers or Semainier, circa 1880.
The chest with a piereced brass gallery to the top having an inset white carrara marble top, the chest having seven drawer fronts each with twin gilded brass ring pulls and gilt brass lockpates.
The drawers are flanked with a pair of ribbed pilasters and terminate to ring turned feet, the base drawer being extra deep with twin dummy drawer fronts. All the drawers run smooth & with ease, they are clean & aroma free and provide lots of ample storage.
This elegant antique French dresser/semainier is in very good condition and is ready to grace your space.
