Sonja Blomdahl Large Handblown Glass Sphere / Vessel / Vase Incalmo, Signed & Numbered

A large hand-blown glass vessel by the celebrated Pacific Northwest glass artist, Sonja Blomdahl (b. 1952), signed & numbered, 1980's.

The sphere having an orange base with a band of clear glass to the center, the top also in orange glass & having an aperture to the center. The vessel having a ground pontil mark and marked with an etched signature "Sonja" and numbered "bP 2287". This is an example of the largest of glass sphere vessels blown by Ms. Blomdahl, condition is excellent.
