A fine pair of antique German silver cornucopia vases with cherubs, Hanau, circa 1890.

The vases most likely by Friedrich Reusswig, a silversmith based in Hanau, Germany, 
Made of .800 silver and in the rococo style; each vase is modeled as a cornucopia and decorated with embossed rococo-scroll cartouches containing winged cherubs and surrounded by scrolling and flowers. Each vase is draped with a cherub, the male cherub playing a harp, the female singing from a songbook, each vase is raised on four legs decorated with scroll-work. 
Condition is excellent, this very elegant pair of silver vases are ready to grace your space.
