An official licensed Le Corbusier LC1 Chair with cow hide produced by Cassina, signed & numbered, in excellent condition.
The chair designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, Charlotte Perriand in 1928. Relaunched in 1965.
Manufactured by Cassina in Italy.
A light, compact chair designed and presented at the 1929 Salon d’Automne along with other important models, such as the LC2 and LC3 armchairs, the LC6 table and the LC4 chaise-longue. As with all of Le Corbusier’s works, the LC1 derives from an in-depth study of human posture.
If the chair was made 1965 or later and is not signed then it is not an official/original LC1!
