A fine and elegant antique French Louis XVI walnut/fruitwood inlaid card/games table, circa 1880. The table having a feather banded walnut top, finely inlaid with a central floral panel and surrounded by inlaid foliate, at each corner there is a decorative bronze mount. The table top turns to reveal a green baize/felt playing surface and a storage reservoir below for cards, etc., the table base having corresponding inlay on all four sides (so the table could be in the middle of a room). The cabriole legs mounted with ormolu mounts to the knees & sabots to the feet. Excellent condition.
