Antique French Napoleon III Ebony Ormolu Marble Sevres Porcelain Inlaid Credenza Cabinet 1860

A fine antique French Napoleon III burl inlaid with a marble top and ormolu mounted credenza/cabinet, inset with a Sevres porcelain portrait plaque, circa 1860.
The three door cabinet having a white varigated cararra marble top, below are inlaid burl walnut panels and inlaid geometric devices. To the center is a door inlaid and mounted with gilt bronze and to the center is a large oval Sevres porcelain plaque, with a hand-painted portrait of Marie Antoinette. Flanked by a pair of inlaid glazed doors, each enclosing two shelves, the cabinet having gilt cast bronze corbel brackets to the top & bottom, the cabinet is raised on a stepped base with bracket feet. The interior of the cabinet is lined with the original blue velvet, condition is good, this very elegant credenza is ready to grace your space.
