Antique French Empire Mahogany Ormolu Marble top Demi-Lune Cabinet Commode 1810

A good antique French Empire flame mahogany, marble top and ormolu mounted demi lune cabinet, circa 1810.
The cabinet is fitted with the original mottled black marble top, the demi lune base is fitted with a single drawer with a gilt-bronze lock escutcheon. The cabinet base having four tapered columns each with a gilt bronze diamond lozenge shaped applique above, the columns having engraved gilt bronze cuffs to the top and base. The front of the cabinet having twin locking doors with gilt bronze lock escutcheons (keys are present and the locks function), the doors enclosing a single shelf, the cabinet is fraised on a plinth base.
