A fine antique 19th century Chinese cloisonne ding shaped lidded censer/incense burner on stand, circa 1870. The twin handled censer having a gilded foo dog finial to the lid, the lid with a cloud decoration background & decorated with Taotie mask motifs. The base having a band of taotie mask decoration and then large lappets below also decorated with corresponding larger masks, all the decoration is finely executed in cloisonne enamel. 
The censer is raised on a tripod base with three legs emanating from the mouths of grotesques, the censer is set upon the original carved hardwood stand, the interior having blue enamel decoration.
Condition is excellent, a very fine antique Chinese Qing dynasty cloisonne ding shaped censer.
