A fine antique Chinese Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) cloisonne shallow bowl, circa 1880.
The bowl is finely decorated with gold spiral cloisons on a black enamel ground, to the center is a beautiful blossoming prunus tree, surrounded by brightly colored moths or butterflies, the border having a brightly colored poly-chromed lappet border. The rear of the bowl having a red enamel border with large heart shaped cloisons, the bowl is raised on a circular slight foot with a blue enamel interior.
Condition is excellent, a very elegant & finely decorated 19th century Chinese cloisonne shallow bowl.
