A large finely rendered antique oil on canvas landscape painting, "Snoqualmie Falls", Washington State, Signed Whitaker, circa 1890.
A fine and large painting depicting the Snoqualmie River Waterfalls, the falls are located around 25 miles East of Seattle. The painting depicts the force of the waterfalls crashing into the rocky river below, and surrounded by tall fir trees.
The painting is indistinctly signed lower right and is housed in the original gilded gesso frame, there is an old gallery stamp to the frear of the canvas from Portland Oregon. The painting is in good condition, the canvas has been recently cleaned by a professional conservator.
This very handsome antique painting is fready to hang on your wall.
