Plane Filling/Mosaic II (1957) by M. C. Escher.
In excellent condition, whilst it is housed in the original frame and buckram rabbet the image has been professionally re-housed with acid free museum/archival mounts and U.V. glass . The image is signed and numbered lower left, this work was purchased in the early 1970's from the Vorpol Gallery in San Francisco which was opened by the artist and writer Muldoon Elder in 1962. M.C. Escher was represented by Muldoon and his gallery at this time, framed size is 24" x 25.5".

Provenance; In the same family and passed by descent since it's purchase. An important investment quality work!
