A fine pair of Antique 19th Century English William IV Brass and Rosewood Needlepoint Fire/Pole Screens, Circa 1830. The screens having brass stems with turned finials mounted with adjustable shield-shaped screens with the original needlepoint. The needlepoint is very finely and delicately rendered, once screen showing a peasant in a leafy setting, the other with a roundel of flowers & leaves. The bases are made of rosewood and have turned and fluted columns, each screen stands on four raised and carved stylized bun feet. Both screens are in excellent condition.
