Antique Georgian Sterling Silver Rococo Teapot, Joseph Angell, Snr, London, 1816. A very fine Georgian teapot having a flame shaped finial and repoussé flower decoration to the hinged lid. The body of the tea pot sumptuously decorated with repoussé flowers and on the front a panel with three putti eating grapes and to the verso two putti flanking a panel enclosing a family crest. The spout also finely engraved and flanked to each side with a putti, the handle similarly decorated and having a boar's head terminal. Both the lid and the underside with hallmarks for Joseph Angell, Snr, London, 1816.
