A good antique singing bird in a cage automaton, Karl Griesbaum, circa 1930.

A feathered single bird sings its various bird song calls while moving its tail and beak and swiveling its head inside a brass cage. Dating from around 1930, the base is signed, "Made in Germany, Ken D" the monogram of Karl Griesbaum.

A lever controls play "continuous, intermittent or stop." The wind-up bellows mechanism plays beautifully, condition is very good indeed.
