A very handsome antique French Art Deco glass and iron table lamp, Muller Freres, Luneville, circa 1925.
The lamp with a hand planished/forged iron base very much in the style of or influenced by the celebrated French metalworker & designer, Edgar Brandt. The base with six upright supports raised on a circular base, to the top of the base are four iron panels each with three circular shell & ammonite style devices.
The lamp has a tripod support for the lampshade, the frosted glass shade with geometric leaf & pine needle decoration, the shade is signed with an etched signature within a rectangular cartouche; "Muller Freres Luneville".
The lamp has been rewired to US code and has an on/off switch on the power cable, the lamp is in excellent condition, a very elegant lamp from the age of jazz ready to grace your home!
