A fine quality antique English Georgian Regency inlaid rosewood tea Caddy, circa 1820.
The caddy is made from the hinged lid is finely inlaid with mother of pearl, and the base with corresponding floral inlay, the sides fitted ring handles. The interior is fitted with twin box tea caddies with hinged lids and a central engraved glass mixing bowl, the caddy standing on compressed bun feet.
The two interior tea boxes would have conatined black & green tea and the central glass bowl would have been used to mix a blend of both teas.
Condition is excellent no damage or restoration.
