A large antique Bernard Palissy style majolica pottery lobster charger plate, by "Joaquim G. Roque Casadinho", Portugal, circa 1900.
The plate is decorated with a large lobster to the center mounted on a sandy textured background and surrounded by mussel shells and seaweed. 
The plate is fully stamped to the rear with the maker's details, condition is excellent and can be hung on the wall or displayed on a stand.
