A fine Pair of antique 19th century French, Louis XV 'Semainiers', tall Lingerie marble topped commodes, circa 1880.
Each chest having a varigated 'caramel' colored marble top with a tapered top and six drawers below. Made from feather banded and parquetery kingwood & tulipwood panels, each drawer and the sides of the chests having quartered panels of these two exotic woods.
Each drawer has a gilt bronze laurel wreath lockplate/escutcheon, each chest has a key, the chests are raised on cabriole feet, mounted with gilt bronze sabots.
The drawers run smooth, both chests are in excellent condition, these fine tall commodes are ready to grace your home.
