Antique French Provincial Normandy Carved Walnut Dresser Buffet Vaissilier 1790

A fine & large antique late 18th century two section French Provincial vaissiler/buffet, Normandy, circa 1790.
The buffet in two sections is made of the most atractive burl walnut having a rich & warm patina, built up over the last 250 years. The top plate rack section having a stepped crown with a shaped  yolk below and a pair of turned finials at each side. The back having a series of shelves and a larger central twin door cupboard enclosing shelves, with a single drawer below which is flanked with a pair of single door cupboards. 
The base with three drawers over three carved panel cupboards enclosing one long single shelf, the base with a carved skirt & raised on short cabriole legs. The doors & drawers fitted with hand forged iron handles & hinges.
Vaissilers/sideboards of this type would have been in large grand French country kitchens or dining rooms, this is a very fine example in excellent antique condition.
