Antique Austrian Folk Art Painted Pine Marriage Blanket Chest Coffer Trunk 1853

A good antique Austrian Folk Art hand-painted pine marriage chest, dated 1853.
The chest with a hinged lid with the original iron snipe hinges, enclosing a large storage area with a lidded 'candle' till to the left hand side. 
The chest retains the original dark blue paint and is decorated with twin cream colored panels to the front, which are hand-painted with flowering baskets, to the center is the date "1853" which is joined with twin flowering branches above a stylized cross.  
To each side of the chest are black painted panels outlined in cream, the chest is raised on four turned bun feet.
Condition is very good, no damage or condition issues, original painted decoration and the interior is clean and aroma free and is ready to store bedding, clothing or whatever you care to store inside? 
The chest is of a good size and is robust and strong and could even be used as a window bench. This very nice antique Austrian Folk Art painted chest is ready to grace your space.
