Antique American Arts & Crafts Oak Library / Writing Table / Desk, Circa 1890. The table having a shaped top supported by corbel brackets decorated with carved stylized oak leaves, the front having a single drawer with a carved 'Green Man' mask and having the original brass hardware. The table having repeating 'Green Man' carvings to the sides and rear, the table raised on bobbin-turned legs and a corresponding stretcher, and standing on compressed bun feet. Constructed of solid quarter sawn oak, as the table is decorated on all sides it could easily be situated in the middle of a room rather than against a wall.
