(Sold) A good pair of late Qing early Republic period 'garlic' neck champlevé & cloisonné vases, circa 1910.
Both vases are lavishly decorated with both cloisonné & champlevé enameled decoration, in a 'thousand flowers' pattern.
The garlic bulb shaped necks having a band of lappet decoration, with profuse and brightly colored enamel decoration to the rest of the neck and a gilded copper cuff to the center of the neck. The bases of the vases are of a bulbous globular shape and are also decorated with many multi-colored flowers on a copper-gilt background, the vases on a raised circular foot.
Condition is excellent, no damage or restoration noted.
