Large 6ft+ Antique Louis XV French Gilded Hand-Painted Trumeau Wall Mirror 1860

A most impressive & elegant antique French gilded & hand-painted trumeau wall mirror circa 1860.
To the top is a scrolled cartouche decorated with gilt 'ribbons' and fuiting foliate, below is a band of gilded 'rope-twist' decoration with a second band that decorates the entire perimiter of the frame. To the top is a panel with dimond & star shaped decoration in relief, with a garland of floral decoration  above an oval handpainted panel. The panel has a 18th century oil painting in the style of Watteau, a romantic scene of a young courting couple in a bucolic landscape with a sheep in the foreground representing innocence & purity. The original beveled mirror is inset below.
The mirror is of superb quality and is in remarkable, excellent condition, all the gilding is original 22k gold, the painting is also in excellent condition, no losses or damage.
