Antique Art Nouveau Hand-Painted 'Mushroom' Cameo Glass Lamp by Jean-Simon Peynaud (French, 1869-1952), Circa 1915. The lamp of a mushroom-shaped form with a bun-shaped top and waisted base. The lamp having multilayered glass and is hand-painted with a leaf-and-vine design, both the top and base are lit with a small bulb, the lamp has been rewired sympathetically and to American code with period materials. The lamp is in good condition with the original bronze metal shade supports and is signed to both the shade and the base, "Peynaud."
