A good, antique, cold-painted bronze figure of an Arab carpet seller, by Franz Bergmann, circa 1900. The figure is displayed standing and presenting a Persian oriental carpet , the figure retains all of the cold-painted polychrome decoration. The bronze is signed to the underside of one of the carpet seller's feet, with Bergmann's foundry mark of a "B" in a vase shaped motif, the bronze also marked "Austria" and with a diamond/lozenge shaped stamp. A good, original, Bergmann bronze in very good condition.
