Antique French Gothic oak chalice court / cabinet / sideboard, circa 1860. The cabinet in two sections, having Gothic pinnacles on the sides and front, the front having two cupboard doors and a central panel with linen-fold carving, quatrefoils, and heraldic shields. The sides also having linen-fold panels and two panels of blind Gothic fretwork and to the front two drawers with corresponding decoration. The cabinet raised on architectural legs with Gothic arches and standing on a plinth with bracket feet. The cabinet of pegged construction throughout and having all the original hand-planished iron hardware.
