Antique English Burl Walnut Long Inlaid Ormolu Bookcase / Buffet / Sideboard, circa 1870

A fine, elegant, English Victorian burl walnut inlaid & ormolu long bookcase, circa 1870. The bookcase is made of the finest figured & burled walnut, the bookcase of reverse breakfront form and inlaid with bellflower and satinwood stringing. To the center is a pair of adjustable shelves flanked with a pair of doors, each containing a pair of shelves. The top of the cabinet having a band of ormolu 'egg & dart' molding with four finely cast ormolu floral brackets below, the base having four corresponding brackets. This elegant antique bookcase having an abundance of storage for the most avid bibliophile!
