A good pair of antique American Renaissance Revival carved walnut hall chairs, Circa 1870.
The chair with high backs and having a neo-classical architectural pediment with a carved fleur-de-lis crest, to the center is a burl walnut arched panel, raised panels with incised carving and circular bosses. The seats having hinged lift up lids with glove storage underneath, the turned legs are also decorated with incised carving and a single corresponding circular boss to the seat skirt.
Both chairs are in good condition, they are robust and stable and ready to grace your home.
