Antique French Art Nouveau Gilt Bronze Statue Sculpture Female Nude Bather 1895 by Eugene Victor Cherrier

A good antique French Art Nouveau gilt bronze sculpture of a female nude figure of a bather, by the Frecnh sculptor Eugene Victor Cherrier (1872-1943), circa 1895.
The bronze depicts a beautiful young lady disrobing behind a stone wall and about to enter a small pool, her robe draped over the wall and her long her tresses tied into a bun in the late 19th century fashion.
The bronze is signed to the lower right side "V. Cherrier", the statue is raised on a   cream marble plinth with brown & black mottled flecks. Condition is very good, no rubbing to the gilding and displays beautifully.
