Antique Chinese Qing Dynasty Carved Rosewood Dragon Loveseat / Sofa / Bench, Circa 1890. The bench is finely and lavishly carved with a pair of entwined dragons, each with a flaming pearl to its jaws. To the center is a large panel surmounted with an eagle and further birds carved below, each arm is modeled as a dragon's body and head. The base having five legs, each leg having a carved foo dog terminal, the seat also carved with a compressed key pattern frieze.
