Antique American Classical Mahogany Drop Leaf Pedestal Pembroke card/tea Table attributed to John Needles of Baltimore, circa 1840. The table made of figured mahogany with two drop leaves with a single drawer to the center. The table standing on a baluster shaped hexagonal column, the base having four compressed bun feet mounted with circular bosses. Needles was a noted cabinet maker based in Maryland/Baltimore, he was also a Quaker & committed abolishionist.
The table is in very good condition.
