Antique English George III 30-Hour Carved & Ebonized Oak Longcase/Grandfather Clock by John Stancliffe of Halifax (1706-1780), Circa 1760. The finely carved clock with penny moon and original eagle finial, the silver dial having black Roman numerals, and having brass pierced spandrels to each corner. The clock was cleaned and serviced in the workshop of Brian Loomes, long considered the United Kingdom's leading expert on antique clocks.
