A good antique large oversized Irish Country House umbrella walking stick stand, circa 1870.
This wonderful antique umbrella, gold club or cane stand came from a late 17th century Country House in County Donegal in the South of Ireland. The stand having two tall, turned uprights mounted with ball finials, below are two storage support areas at different heights to receive canes or umbrellas, or golf clubs?
To the base is the original removeable metal drip tray with three compartments.
The stand is of a rare large size as it was made for a grand 20 bedroom country house in Letterkenny Co Donegal, "Rockhill House" is now a hotel & spa.
The stand is in very good antique condition, it is stable & robust and would be a great feature in the foyer of a restaurant or hotel or in your home or office?
