Antique Egyptian Revival Art Deco enameled 800 grade silver gilt cloisonne enamel box, Italy, circa 1925.
The hexagonal shaped lidded box having a hinged lid, decorated with a head of a pharoah/ King Tutankhamun, modeled in deep relief with a blue enamel ground & decorated with floral & geometric devices in green, maroon & white enamels. The base of the box with corresponding decoration, the lid is stamped to the lip with "800", the interior of the box with a gold wash.
The box is very finely crafted and is in excellent condition, this rare & unusal antique silver gilt & cloisonne box is ready to grace your collection, or it would make a generous & unusual gift!
