Antique 18th Century Georgian oak Welsh dresser & Plate rack, circa 1780.
A very fine original George III Welsh Dresser & plate rack in remarkable original condition, the dresser in two sections, the top with a stepped cornice & shaped pediment below. The plate rack with three shelves & two cupboard doors each enclosing a single shelf, the doors with 'H' shaped brass hinges & brass escutcheons/lockplates. The base of the plate rack is fitted with six spice drawers each with brass 'teardrop' handles.
The dresser base having three deep substantial drawers with the original 'batwing' brass handles and lockplates, the dresser base having a corresponding shaped skirt & is raised on turned & blocked legs, each side with a recessed panel.
The dresser is in remakable antique condition, original finish, no condition issues, this very attractive 18th century Welsh dresser is ready to grace your space.
